I'm curious if anyone else has come across this issue for their 1st payroll of 2016. We found that anyone who retros back into 2015 and an employee had a gross-up wage type and cost assignment that the retro is trying to refund the gross-up.
- EE has gross-up wage type 1000 with cost assignment and gross-up wage type 1000 without cost assignment (we allow multiple entries of the same wage type on IT0015 for certain processes), but the cost assignment is the EE's IT0001 company/cost center
- period 1.2016 payroll retros back to 25.2015 payroll where the gross up wage types were originally paid
- the retro result of 25.2015 is trying to prorate the gross-up based on the cost assignment split
- this is creating a refund of earnings to the EE
I found note 2046513 which seems like our issue, but this is already installed in our system. I also found note 2157460 which is like our issue and this note is also in our system, but this note refers to a solution note that does not seem to be released yet 2229623.
We are currently on SAPHR 604 SP88 and CLC92, and EAHR 607 SP39 and CLC42.
Any inputs would be appreciated as we are finding several payroll and US tax issues since we implemented these new SP's/CLC's and unfortunately this issues are happening in our production environment.
